Shiva Institute of Pharmacy (SIP) was established in 2015 under the aegis of “Shiva Educational Society, Ghumarwin, Bilaspur (H.P.)”. The institute is approved by Pharmacy Council of India and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. It is also affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur and Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shikaha Board, Dharamshala. Presently, Institute is offering D. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy course. It is one of the premier education institutions in Bilaspur District of Himachal Pradesh.

Institute is located in Village Chandpur, Bilaspur (H.P.) with a peaceful and pollution free environment besides the river Sutlej. The lush green campus attracts the students of various corners of the state and outside Himachal Pradesh. The goal of the institute is to provide result oriented quality education in the field of Pharmacy. Excellent library facilities are provided for students and faculty members. Modern and conventional teaching methods are adopted to achieve high quality education.

Training and Placement Cell also works for organizing Industrial and Hospital training with the collaboration of Pharmaceutical Industries and Hospitals. Every year students are placed in various reputed Pharmaceutical Industries. Institute also provides excellent research facilities to the students and staffs. Institute provides transport facilities, separate hostel facilities for girls and boys, wifi facility for students to access internet facility to upgrade their knowledge and to know recent advances in the field of Pharmacy and Research.
